I use heavy boxes, lots of Styrofoam and never bubble wrap or packing peanuts on anything over 15 lbs. Sony MDR-V900 dynamic stereo headphones.

They do show light signs of wear and the head band is showing age low cost replacements are available course these sound great with 50mm drivers for good frequency reproduction. 5mm to 1/4 screw on adapter.
